Kognitive Linguistik

Cognitive linguistics deals with linguistic phenomena such as grammar not only from a formal point of view, but also with regard to general cognitive, perceptive and physical abilities of the human being. This makes them as a relatively new theoretical approach particularly attractive for all questions of acquisition and all goals of language teaching. As in an archipelago with various islands, this volume presents the most important findings of cognitive linguistics in the fields of gestures, cognition and language, semantics / lexicology / morphology, construction grammar / syntax, metaphorics, linguistic diversity / linguistic relativity, text linguistics and language acquisition comprehensively, comprehensibly and using numerous examples from different languages.
