A cookbook for children with little text but plenty of pictures – this is exactly the kind of cookbook that author Anna Allenbach received as a Christmas gift from her aunt when she was a child. Since then, she has cherished this UNICEF book, which contains recipes from around the world. Her search for a similar cookbook to gift to children in her circle of acquaintances was unsuccessful. Thus, Anna Allenbach began illustrating her own recipes for her godson. This led to the creation of her own children's cookbook featuring recipes from friends, her childhood, and personal favorites. Whether it's ham croissants, chicken nuggets, spinach rolls with dates and feta, or dorayaki, sweet Japanese pancakes, there is something for every taste and every season.
