Martina Meuth (born in 1948 in Stuttgart, raised in Kaiserslautern and Mannheim, where she completed her humanistic high school diploma in 1968) attended the German School of Journalism in Munich and worked for "Eltern" and "freundin" – initially in the editorial department, later in the cooking section, which she led from 1980 to 1985. Since then, she has been a freelance author.

Bernd Neuner-Duttenhofer (born in 1943 in Sulz-Hopfau, completed his scientific high school diploma in 1962 in Horb/Neckar) studied theater and art history as well as sociology in Munich (without completing his degree – writing cookbooks got in the way!). From 1975, he led the cooking section at "Meine Familie & ich" and became deputy editor-in-chief in 1981. He has been self-employed since 1985.

The passionate still-life photographer Hubertus Schüler learned his craft in the perfectionist yet wild realms of advertising. After an assistantship in Düsseldorf, he has been working as a freelance photographer in Bochum since 1990. He approaches his work with body, soul, and all his talents. His photo studio serves as an atelier, prop room, party loft, professional kitchen, and experimental workshop. He says he became a photographer because he couldn't paint. What a blessing for photography! Now he paints not with brushes but with precision and light. Additionally, he has a great fondness for styling, and when he occasionally has nothing in front of the lens, he scours flea markets for old treasures that have led interesting lives and have stories to tell, or he paints, scrubs, and inks surfaces. His photographs have received numerous awards.
