Ice climbing on frozen waterfalls, walls, and ice pillars completes the offerings. All routes in the Ötztal and Pitztal meet the strict criteria of Climbers Paradise, which aims to ensure the quality of climbing infrastructure.

In no other alpine region can you find over 31 climbing crags with more than 1000 sport climbing routes, 86 multi-pitch routes, 16 via ferratas, over 100 icefalls, and 1 bouldering area with over 50 boulders (over 180 routes) within such a regional area.
