Kleine Formen - widerständige Formen? Postmigration intermedial

This anthology is dedicated to the artistic and defensive potential of thinking together post-migration and small forms with interdisciplinary articles. The post-migrant perspective goes hand in hand with a political mindset that utilises subversive, ironic practices and thus questions hegemonic relationships and exposes intersectional realities of discrimination. In combination with Small Forms, which traverse a wide variety of genres, the literary and artistic texts, media and processes that open up a space for the participation of marginalised voices outside of established, curated publication channels will therefore be examined in particular. While the term "small form" traditionally stands for feuilletonistic short prose, in more recent research contexts it is used to analyse a wide variety of short text types, abridged forms or even audiovisual narrative formats. The articles in this collection explore the potential for resistance in tweets, memes, zines, short films, podcasts and poems, for example.
