The language book remains true to the proven concept in its new edition for the LehrplanPLUS: The division into thematic chapters and workshop chapters offers various approaches for individual learning occasions and needs. The two parts interconnect and are linked by references. The language and reading book are thematically interconnected.

The language book features a new differentiation concept: differentiated tasks and vocabulary materials, as well as differentiation texts, are color-coded. Open tasks are supplemented with motivating additional tasks. This way, the new cloverleaf caters to individual abilities. Every child can practice successfully.

The thematic chapters allow for a content-oriented approach to acquiring competencies. They conclude with a practice page and an idea box that encourages projects. In the workshop chapters, methods and work techniques are systematically developed and applied. It focuses on practice methods, spelling, grammar, and the sub-skills of the writing process. Inquiry-based learning is the focus here. With the 'What can I do now?' pages, children can independently check their learning progress and knowledge.
