Modellierung und Optimierung der strömungstechnischen Vorgänge in Abweiseradsichtern

Deflector wheel separators are process engineering machines used for the classification of gas-particle mixtures. The goal of this work is to reduce energy costs by improving separation properties and lowering pressure loss. In addition to structural measures, model development is also a key focus. A deeper understanding of the flow dynamics is required for the development of the models.
