In semi-automatic driver assistance systems, the driver must monitor the system during driving and always be ready to intervene. This work aims to contribute to a more detailed analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of semi-automatic assistance systems. Using the example of a traffic jam assistant, methods will be developed and evaluated that enable a driver to effectively intervene in vehicle control during critical situations and counteract dangerous scenarios.
