Kinder- und Jugendtheater in der Schweiz. Eine Bestandsaufnahme

The sixth volume of the publication series brings together academic essays, discussions with artists, ideas workshops and a round table discussion on children's and young people's theatre in Switzerland, which were produced as part of a symposium in St. Gallen.
The volume reflects on current developments and aesthetics of theatre for children and young people, provides information on the specific conditions and possibilities in Switzerland and, in an exchange with theatre practitioners, addresses questions of relevance, mediation and professionalisation of theatre for young audiences.

The regular issues of the series "itw : im dialog" are located at the interface of theatre theory and practice and publish current research on contemporary theatre by the Institute for Theatre Studies at the University of Bern. The series is edited by Beate Hochholdinger-Reiterer and Alexandra Portmann.
