Kiffe kiffe demain

"Kiffe kiffe demain" is the debut novel by author and director Faïza Guène, the daughter of Arab immigrants, which she wrote at the age of 19 and has since been translated into 22 languages (the German title is "Paradiesische Aussichten"). It depicts the everyday life of 15-year-old Doria in a suburban neighborhood of Paris, where the prospects for a better life are slim; her mother is illiterate, and her father has left for Morocco. What makes this edition of the Red Series special is that it was created by a class of students from Bavaria, "by students for students." The class was awarded a prize by the Bavarian Ministry of Education for their work.
