Katharina Lehmann

With her first comprehensive monograph, Infinite Walk, Katharina Lehmann (*1984) takes readers on a personal artistic journey through her impressive oeuvre. In the process of creating her works, the artist runs through her materials. Hundreds of thousands of kilometers of yarn and acrylic paint are transformed into a fabric developed by her and are then used in various ways for spatial installations, objects, and images. Similar to a journey, the structure of the book follows different stages. In a total of eight chapters, the publication highlights the significant phases of the artist's work to date. Beginning with the year 2014, which Katharina Lehmann defined as her personal "zero point," the narrative extends to the present and offers a glimpse into new horizons.
