The extensive and richly illustrated monograph presents for the first time the development and work of the Cologne office Kaspar Kraemer Architekten in its entirety. The book sheds light on the establishment of the office as well as Kraemer's diverse architectural engagement, spanning from the impressive graphic oeuvre of the architect to the built architecture. In this way, the publication, created on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the office, presents a multifaceted cosmos of architecture as a triad of thinking, drawing, and building. Important Cologne buildings such as the entrance to the Cathedral and the flood pumping station on Schönhauser Strasse are featured, along with the Hochtief office building in Essen, the Fagus office building in Braunschweig, and the administrative and logistics center for the textile company van Laack in Mönchengladbach.
