Product details
The curious rabbit Kasimir is the protagonist in 20 short, independent stories and exercises designed to promote language skills in kindergarten and early education. On his adventures, Kasimir is often accompanied by his friend Flora, the cheeky little fly.
Once, the two observe a lumberjack chopping a tree into small pieces. They wonder if a chopped tree is still called a "tree." Flora jokes that a chopped tree is a B-a-u-m. In jest, they begin to break down many other words into sounds. The story of Kasimir playfully transitions into an exercise where the children themselves break words into sounds.
In total, twelve stories lead to games and exercises in the area of auditory perception, similar to the example described above. Five stories, along with their corresponding exercise suggestions, are suitable for training visual perception. Three stories address aspects of graphomotor skills.
Educators and teachers can use the materials related to Kasimir and Flora to specifically promote aspects of auditory and visual perception, as well as graphomotor skills, thereby enhancing the foundational abilities for learning to read and write.
