On a trip to the school hostel, the Einstein detectives Sara and Cosmo get involved in a new case. Someone threw something into the stream at night and then ran away. But who was it and what ended up in the water? Did a thief want to get rid of his loot? A series of experiments involving water gradually leads the detectives to the right clue. Finally, they are able to give Theo back his lost treasure and the murderous thief reveals himself.

The new reading series &bdquo,The Einstein Detectives&ldquo, offers reading promotion combined with topics from science lessons and exciting stories to play along with and participate in&ndash. The highlight: at the end of each chapter there is an experiment that helps the protagonists &ndash, and their pupils &ndash, to solve the case step by step. At the beginning of the following chapter, the result is taken up and deepened.

By linking the reading with experiments, numerous competences are required and promoted: reading for comprehension, understanding and implementing process descriptions, and using different tools and equipment.
