After successfully completing his apprenticeship as a baker, André Lüthi from Freiburg set out into the wide world. This journey culminated in a career that is truly exceptional.

"Karma" is not a biography in the traditional sense. It is a printed auditory pleasure – a conversation as lengthy as it is entertaining between the author Frank Baumann and his protagonist, the globetrotter André Lüthi. The dialogue takes place in his second home, Nepal, following long days or hair-raising motorcycle rides over dusty, bumpy roads into the hinterlands of the sprawling metropolis of Kathmandu. An adventure that has paved the way for deeply honest conversations. Discussions about great happiness and perceived misfortune, about morality, about the urge to leave and break away, and about the necessity of sometimes taking detours.
