KARIBU is a syllable reader that welcomes every student and encourages participation. KARIBU employs an integrative approach and connects literacy acquisition with a clear focus on syllables. The reader is based on the proven concept of Carola Reuter-Liehr, the syllable approach of the Kiel reading program, and the FRESCH method. Pre-course - KARIBU facilitates the entry into literacy acquisition through exercises on language rhythm, phonological awareness, and graphomotor skills. Progression of word formation - From simple to complex! KARIBU supports the systematic development of word structure through consistent syllable segmentation, meaning from open to closed syllables, as well as progressing from simple, acoustically well-structured word forms (phonetic) to more challenging words. Syllables resonate and syllable arches are set - through action-oriented learning.
