The workbooks enable children to work independently. They swing, read, write, paint, and glue. An integrative preparatory course simplifies the entry into literacy acquisition. It serves to train precursor skills and assess the starting point of learning. Beginning with the vowels (pilots), which hold a special position in the syllable concept, children work through all the letters. For each letter, exercises are offered across four pages covering all areas of learning. The workbooks provide tasks at three levels of difficulty and are designed for differentiated instruction. Tasks related to the discovery pages and a "I can do this now" page complete each chapter.
