Die Tote im St. Moritzersee

In the early morning light, a rowing boat drifts on the mirror-smooth St. Moritz Lake. Inside lies the body of Anastasia Maranta. Her father, Rudolfo Maranta, the uncrowned king of the Engadin jet set, promises a reward of one million francs for anyone who can solve the mystery of his twenty-four-year-old daughter's death. The authorities assign Alpine police officer Corina Costa to the case. The nature-loving officer, who is also a mountain farmer and lives above Pontresina with her marmot Fred and other animals, steps into a world completely foreign to her, filled with material wealth and false smiles. The deeper she delves into this realm, the more dangerous it becomes. A hunt begins amidst the Engadin mountains.
