Targeted deepening, preparation, and training: The practice book Kaishi! (A1) is ideal as a supplement to lessons, for review, or for self-study. It deepens and reinforces the content of the course book through a variety of exercises and includes numerous pronunciation exercises with audio examples.

For different learning types, there are communicative tasks, interview tasks, and discovery learning tasks. Additionally, there are small self-tests to check learning progress, as well as writing, grammar, and vocabulary exercises.
