József Takács

József Takács (June 30, 1904 - September 3, 1983) was a Hungarian national football player who played 32 international matches and scored 26 goals between 1923 and 1933. He participated in the 1924 Summer Olympics. Takács, who played as a forward, was a club footballer for Vasas SC and Ferencváros. Forwards, also known as strikers, are the players in a football team who play closest to the opponent's goal and are therefore primarily responsible for scoring goals.
