Bildungsprozesse im Kindesalter

The focus is on the question of what children do as they grow and develop. These educational processes are described from the child's perspective. Relationships are captured that occur between the child, their peers, and the objects they interact with. While developmental or cognitive psychology categorizes these relationships for separate study, educators must understand something of the complexity of the interplay of different functions in a given situation. The process of the complex connection between the inner and outer world is understood as a process of symbolization, the aspects of which form the focal points of the book's argument. At the same time, various areas of children's education are presented, such as processes of self-development, imagination, and educational work.
