Resilienz in der Schule

School is rarely considered from the children's perspective. The societal pressure to perform does not stop at schools. Success is defined by meeting the set requirements. The focus is increasingly on measurable achievements. However, people are not machines. To cope with difficult situations and challenges in life, it is essential to promote the resilience of children and adolescents. This includes optimism and the acceptance of mistakes, solution orientation, personal responsibility, self-efficacy, and social skills. For this specific support, good role models are, of course, necessary. Therefore, this book aims to assist educators in strengthening their own resilience. At the same time, it should also provide them with ideas and suggestions to foster their students into resilient individuals.
