Learn to create healthy relationships that will change your life. This workbook provides material for a 14-week course in Nonviolent Communication (NVC). It is based on Marshall B. Rosenberg's foundational work on Nonviolent Communication. The exercise program is primarily designed for group learning but can also be pursued through self-study. Just like learning a foreign language, we must first understand certain fundamental concepts when learning NVC – essentially the grammar. This solid foundation ultimately enables us to handle the language with confidence. We can practice NVC anywhere and anytime with anyone. Unlike a foreign language, you don’t need a counterpart who also masters NVC. We can practice with our parents and children, with colleagues, supervisors, friends, loved ones, and even strangers.
