Jochen Klepper

Jochen Klepper (1903-1942) is one of the most important Christian writers of the 20th century. He is the most significant Protestant hymn writer since Gerhard Tersteegen and Philipp Friedrich Hiller; in the hymn canon of German-speaking Protestant Christianity, Klepper ranks just after Paul Gerhardt, alongside Martin Luther.
