Topics include hairstylist's tools, dealing with customers and colleagues, making appointments, hairstyles, cutting the customer's hair, making conversation, recommending products, payment, dealing with regular customers, health and safety in the workplace, faces and haircuts, make-up and beauty tips, and nails.

The series edition consists of 24 double-page units that form the workbooks. Differentiated tasks for heterogeneous classes from the varied everyday working life enable action-oriented and student-oriented lessons in technical English. The tasks motivate and consolidate subject-specific vocabulary. "It's your turn" tasks at the end of each unit allow students to contribute their own experiences and summarize content. Extra practice pages in every fourth unit provide even more practice. Can-do statements show which skills are covered.
