Jin und die magische Melone

Sven is quite astonished when the watermelon on his kitchen table suddenly starts to speak. Inside it is a small spirit enchanted by the powerful weather spirit! And Jin is in great danger: If he doesn't find four exotic instruments before the next full moon, the weather spirit actually intends to eat the watermelon - along with Jin! It's clear that Sven wants to help Jin. Thus begins the most exciting adventure Sven has ever experienced: off they go on a flying carpet to Istanbul and then along the legendary Silk Road to China. Luckily, they are assisted on their quest by the mischievous Nasreddin Hoca - who rides his donkey backwards - four friendly musicians, and a mysterious blue lucky eye. But soon the full moon will rise! Will Jin and Sven manage to find the instruments, appease the powerful weather spirit, and save Jin's life? Martina Gedeck narrates the story of Jin and the magical watermelon, with the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt conducted by Howard Griffiths performing the music by Fabian Künzli.
