Jan Fedder – Unsterblich

Jan Fedder: direct, straightforward, honest, not a diplomat, but with a big heart for people – he embodied the true essence of Hamburg like no one else. His standout roles in "Grossstadtrevier," "Neues aus Büttenwarder," the Siegfried Lenz adaptations "Der Mann im Strom" and "Das Feuerschiff," or in the cult film "Das Boot" made this North German original a legend even during his lifetime. Yet despite all his successes, Jan Fedder said of himself: "My main profession is being a human – acting is my side job."

Jan Fedder passed away on December 30, 2019. Now, Tim Pröse tells the story of this unique man.
