In her diary novel, she explores the theme of home in all its diversity: as a stage for earthly performances, a constant search for that one thing that makes you happy forever, a geographical location, a cultural space, a physical state, and simply a feeling. Heartbreak, binge eating, philosophy, and psychedelics – it’s about the mundane and the big picture, hedonism and political rebellion, armpit hair and the AfD. "At My Home" is a report on being human in all its embarrassment and grandeur, told from a radical first-person perspective. Atmospheric image sequences follow inner monologues, and wordless glances alternate with intimate dialogues. Sometimes silly, sometimes serious, but always sincere. We get to know Paulina as a multidimensional character who swings between feelings of inferiority and megalomania, failing and triumphing in her quest for a better life. "At My Home" is her third publication with Jaja, where she showcases her refined storytelling and drawing skills, managing to inspire readers with her distinctive style.
