Jahrgangsübergreifender Unterricht

Inter-grade teaching, understood as a pedagogical concept, includes multi-layered potentials for the joint learning of pupils and contributes to the development of teaching and schools. The question of how inter-grade teaching can be designed and reflected in practice is examined from various perspectives in this book. In addition to pedagogical justifications, academic controversies and the current implementation in the federal states, the book looks at the working methods of individual schools that already teach in different year groups. Based on interviews with school administrators, the development process from homogeneous to inter-grade teaching is traced. Furthermore, it is shown how teachers can support the joint learning of pupils.
