This picture cookbook enables people with limited literacy skills to understand recipes and cook independently. It contains cooking and baking suggestions for all four seasons, focusing on ingredients that are seasonally available. The recipes primarily use familiar local ingredients. They are intentionally kept simple to facilitate independent cooking. Kitchen utensils and tools, as well as the necessary ingredients, are presented through photographs to create a direct connection to everyday life. Additionally, the individual preparation steps are realistically illustrated through photo sequences. New to this edition are the spoken instructions on the accompanying audio CD, which simplify the cooking process. Step by step, the procedures are explained clearly.
