For many people computer games have become a popular leisure activity. While a few years ago they were mainly represented on game consoles and home computers, their spread is now increasing on smartphones and mobile phones. In terms of memory space, system resources and graphics performance, mobile devices are inferior to home computers and game consoles. This fact is clearly visible in 3D computer games. They tend to require more memory and system resources than their 2D counterparts. System resources can be conserved by game content generated by procedural methods. Each time the program is started, new content is generated according to defined initial parameters. The goal of this thesis is the implementation of a 3D flight simulator on the Apple iPhone 3GS, whose game terrain is generated by procedural methods.
