The project was initiated by the German-Iranian fashion designer Leyla Piedayesh from Berlin, who, along with author Stefanie von Wietersheim and photographer Neda Rajabi, aims to showcase the life stories of Iranian women in Germany – as a signal of the women's desire for freedom in Iran and beyond its borders.
