This requirement is fully met by the investment market, which provides companies with the opportunity to quickly and efficiently raise external capital, thereby maintaining the necessary balance between investments and capital needs. The study examines the concept of the modern innovation-oriented investment market in the Russian Federation and analyzes global experiences in bank intermediation during the capital-raising process. The investment institutions that have emerged at the global level determine the conditions and extent of financial globalization, participate in the redistribution and migration of investment capital, and provide capital that secures economic growth. The analysis of trends, issues, and prospects of the investment market served as the basis for the subsequent development of a series of recommendations by the author aimed at improving the investment attractiveness of the country.
