Economic relations between Western and Central Eastern European countries have steadily increased since the early 1990s and today constitute an essential part of regional economic growth. However, impressive business successes that many companies have achieved through cross-border cooperation have often been preceded by enormous difficulties. Culturally influenced differences in mentality between people of different nationalities are a significant factor in professional everyday life and their impact on economic success should not be underestimated.
