The DBT-A Manual with Interactive Skills Training. Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Adolescents (DBT-A) was developed to treat emotional regulation disorders that begin in adolescence. For the first time, it is now available as a combined therapist manual plus skills training for those affected: The manual for therapeutic work provides a detailed outline of a skills group with adolescents and offers concrete tips for dealing with difficult situations. Collaborative work with adolescents and family members is another focus. The guide incorporates the extensive experiences of various working groups in teaching skills to adolescents. The accompanying software with interactive skills training allows adolescents to learn skills independently and deepen their experiences from the skills group.
