Integrative Wirtschaftsethik

Integrative economic ethics is a philosophical ethics of reason in economics that provides orientation in political and economic thinking. What is new about this approach to economic ethics is that it does not limit itself to defending the morality of the market or to serving as the counterpoint to economic rationality. The normative aspect is already inherent in economic thinking. Therefore, this thinking must be critically examined and placed in the context of questions regarding the good life and just coexistence among people. It unfolds a pioneering perspective on life-serving economic design. According to the justification of the ethical standpoint of reason, integrative economic ethics encompasses three fundamental tasks: 1. the critique of pure economic rationality and its normative elevation to economicism.
