Integrative Maltherapie

Integrative art therapy describes a therapeutic concept for psychiatric patients that combines psychotherapeutic, pharmacological, and psychosocial treatment strategies. This therapeutic approach opens new pathways to the patient in the crisis situation of their illness through the creative medium of painting and creates a healing environment in which the patient actively participates. The central concern of the book is a comprehensive presentation of group art therapy as a therapeutic-diagnostic process. The structure and method of the art group and their applicability to various psychiatric disorders are discussed.
