Yoko Ono

Little Yoko grew up in a wealthy family in Tokyo. When her parents fled to the countryside to escape the American bombings, she experienced what it meant to go to bed hungry at night. This sparked her desire for a peaceful world, to which she dedicated her life and her art. The song "Give Peace a Chance," which she composed with her husband John Lennon, became the anthem of the anti-war movement worldwide.
