Innovation in der Sozialen Arbeit

The author takes the discrepancy between the current innovation discourse and the lack of social science analyses of innovation as an opportunity to clarify the concept of innovation from the perspective of social work and to outline the theoretical foundation of the innovation concept. In an empirical study, she further shows what enables and fosters development and innovation processes in social work, and what implications this has for science and the profession. The book is intended for lecturers and students of social sciences as well as practitioners in the field of social work.
