Product details
Before becoming the guru of an entire generation, Dr. Timothy Leary, who died in 1996, was a renowned Harvard psychologist whose studies still have a strong influence on psychology today. Unfortunately, when it comes to Leary, one remembers far too little of his groundbreaking research, but much more of his role in the last Cultural Revolution. In his major work "Info-Psychology" Leary describes the theory of eight neuronal circuits and consciousness and thus provides the first quantitative developmental model of consciousness, which can be compared to 'Spiral Dynamics' by Don Beck and Clare Graves or the work of Ken Wilber. Funny as provocative, visionary as well as profoundly sharp, Leary sketches here a view of human evolution, the significance of which may only be fully appreciated in many years.
