INDIGO - Das Wörterbuch mit Bildern

Imagery-based thinking and learning comes easily to all of us. Especially children and adolescents think in images and perceive the world holistically. This is where Indigo comes in: a dictionary that helps understand word meanings, spell words correctly, and communicate with others. To achieve this, images are used in various ways to support language. Indigo is a visual dictionary for everyone!

The promotion of German as a second language is facilitated by the foundational training Indigo, which consists of a thematically organized picture dictionary. It covers 15 topics, including "In School," "Friends from Around the World," and "Health." Each topic is introduced with a situational image and core vocabulary. Each individual entry is illustrated for clarity. Additionally, it includes a comprehensive word list with an expanded basic vocabulary, where many entries are illustrated with images.
