In eisigem Licht

A murder shakes Reykjavík. A woman has been strangled with the belt of her bathrobe in her home. Shortly before, a respected judge had been visiting her. During the subsequent interrogation, his wife refuses to provide him with an alibi, and the judge is arrested. That same day, he hangs himself in prison. Plagued by guilt, the wife then contacts retired commissioner Konráð. She knows her husband was unfaithful, but she is certain he did not kill the woman. In his investigation, Konráð uncovers extortion, corruption, and abuse within the justice system. The closer Konráð gets to the truth, the more he wonders: Who is the victim, and who is the perpetrator?.
