Product details

The black Opel Diplomat rolled to a stop by the roadside. The taillights flashed briefly, then the car stood still. The driver's door opened, and a young woman got out. On the other side, a young man exited the limousine and stretched. His gaze wandered to the beach a few hundred meters away. He could see the small spray crowns on the crests of the waves. Both heard the roar of an engine too late. The road had been empty. But now, another car shot around the bend, hidden behind a small cluster of trees. The woman let out a piercing scream. A violent jolt made the Diplomat shudder. A body flew through the air, metal screamed under the force of the impact. Then the dark green Mercedes sped away. The man stood frozen, watching it go. The vehicle's license plate burned deeply into his memory. So did the sight of the shattered girl’s body, slowly sliding off the hood of the black car onto which she had been thrown. The driver's door lay somewhere in front of the car on the road, torn off and deformed.

The volume "In the Streets of Fear" contains the first five novels (plus a bonus story) featuring the ghost reporter Ted Ewigk, created by the Professor Zamorra and Damona King author Werner Kurt Giesa, which were first published in the horror series Gespenster-Krimi. The Romankiosk publishes the adventures of Ted Ewigk as a revised new edition in two volumes: "In the Streets of Fear" and "The Living Forest.".
