Product details
The control of one's impulses is a significant challenge for some adolescents. Minor disruptions in personal or school life can escalate into conflicts and occasionally lead to aggressive behavior.
The program "VollControl" has been developed to support adolescents with impulse control issues. It helps them reflect on and manage their impulsive behavior by teaching them to apply impulse control strategies. The program is straightforward to implement, requires minimal time resources, and can be easily integrated into therapy and school routines.
The program can be conducted as group or individual training. It consists of four training sessions with ongoing goal-setting and reflection work, and includes engaging materials ranging from a workbook to hip-hop songs and digital self-reflection tools. It is designed for adolescents aged 10 to 15 years, but can also be adapted for slightly younger or older children or teenagers depending on their personal maturity and areas of interest.
