About the holy Father Maximilian Kolbe, a Polish religious man and martyr of charity, who voluntarily died in the hunger bunker in Auschwitz 80 years ago for a family man, several biographies have already been published in German, but hardly any original texts. Before his arrest by the Nazis, Maximilian Kolbe spoke freely and without a manuscript during his addresses at his monastery. Several fellow brothers took notes of his speeches and preserved them even beyond the occupation period. In this new book, these recordings are published for the first time in German. Father Maximilian Kolbe in his own words reveals himself to us as a great spiritual teacher.
