Implementierung der Bildsegmentierung mit MATLAB

This book serves as a step-by-step guide for the segmentation of color images and for a detailed examination of the image segmentation process. Additionally, it allows readers to conduct their own research project on image segmentation. The book critically analyzes and compares extensive literature on existing approaches. A thorough analysis of graph-based segmentation methods is presented. Later, an optimal method is proposed, which includes various important processes such as preprocessing, noise removal, acceleration, merging, and labeling of segmented images. The results are evaluated and compared based on various performance assessment parameters such as execution time, performance ratio, PSNR, precision, and recall. We have provided MATLAB codes for each individual step. This work has been read over 18,000 times and cited more than 90 times.
