Danie Beaulieu is a PhD psychologist from Montreal who teaches not only impact techniques but also Eye Movement Integration (EMI). In 1998, she founded the Maison de Formation et d'Édition Académie Impact, a training and continuing education academy specializing in educational and psychological topics. Among her 15 books are several bestsellers that have been translated into multiple languages.

The range of disorders that can be treated with impact therapy is broad: burnout, depression, anxiety, and conflicts can all be addressed quickly and with lasting results. Impact therapy is not tied to any specific therapeutic school, making it beneficial for all forms of psychotherapy.
