Immermann-Jahrbuch 3/2002

The Immermann Yearbook aims to explore the life and work of Carl Leberecht Immermann through new research and to determine the author's position in the transitional period between Romanticism and Realism from a literary historical perspective. Particular interest is given to the previously under-researched parts of his work, such as his poetry, dramatic works, autobiographical texts, as well as his letters and diaries. The Yearbook is also intended to serve as a forum for contributions related to literary and cultural history from the period between 1815 and 1840, which follows from Immermann's significant role in the literary scene of the time and his various areas of interest, including history, painting, visual arts, and law.
