Imagine Africa 2060

"The opposite of diversity is simplicity" (Ilija Trojanow) - the makers of the event series "voices of Africa" are convinced of this and, after ten years now, are trying to overcome simplicity through the diversity of stories, languages and styles. They made the voices of our neighboring continent heard in order to counter the unabashed racism and the unbearable populist calls for isolation. For nothing brings us as close to the people as their storytelling. Ten African authors who were guests at Allerweltshaus wrote stories especially for this anthology: Visions of the future from ten countries, utopias and dystopias, which with their different subjects and narrative styles give an impression of the richness of the African literary scene.
