Humans live in spaces - from the caves of the Stone Age to built architectures and the digital worlds of the present. Spaces are an expression of social and cultural change. In the process, states of being in-between emerge. How and where do these manifest themselves in architectural space? How do people deal with the in-between spaces in which they find themselves?
